Not something I have tried, despite v9 not officially supporting 32 bit if I understand correctly there is a way to do it as someone seems to have on here using J Bridge, I think it is documented on Steinbergs website. But it seems somewhat risky to do something that can rock the boat for stability after efforts have been made to try and root out problems.

Although the entire point of Cubase going 64 bit is for greater stability if you use 8 and it is fine then there is no real need to upgrade. I can only account for my own experiences, v9 is rock solid.

The reason I'm telling you this is because the last time I tried to reactivate a plugin that failed to reativate, it was my mistake : it was a 32 bit file. So, when you tried to bridge your plugins, maybe that was the wrong folder after all. This already happened to me several times when using JBridge.
Since you have to keep the original 32 bit folder and the new 64 bit folder when you use JBridge, make sure Cubase only scanned the folder that contained the 64 bit files created by JBridge, or they will be blacklisted for sure as the original files aren't modified. Maybe Cubase scanned the folder that contained the original 32 bit files you installed, and you forgot to add the folder that contained the newly created 64 bridged files after that, can't be ?
I imagine what you say is possible. I've never used JBridge before trying the demo so there's plenty of room for user error and these were all 32 bit plugins that are still running with stability in Cubase 8.5 so it seems odd.Unfortunately I imagine the Cubase 9 demo has expired so I can't try the set up again. Expiring demos can be rather annoying. Anyway that's just my little problem and Viper does seem interesting.People can always demo JBridge and Viper at the same time
