Q: Track Spacing?

Question: What is the easiest / best way to create some spectral 'space' between two tracks, a la https://www.wavesfactory.com/trackspacer/ ?
That is:
(a) analyze the spectrum from one track,
(b) apply the inverse EQ curve to another track.

I got this with a bit of faffing about, but I'm looking for an easy / quick way.

Maybe there will be an FR for MAutoEqualizer?

Mspectraldynamics. If you just need a little bit of ducking use MDynamicEQ or MDynamicsMB, but if yoy really want to duck the exact spectrum of another track use Mspectraldynamics

Understood but I am after a fixed 'complementary' EQ curve.
Anyway, I tried MSpectralDynamics (I have never used it before) and could not get it to do anything. After 20 minutes I noticed that both the Ducking Active presets had the Dry/Wet set to 100% Dry.

TrackSpacer is dynamic. But if you want a static spacer, then I would use MFreeformEQ. No point limiting yourself to bands when you can use the exact shape. It has an auto feature that is much more accurate than MAutoEQ.

I didn't realize you wanted something fixed. In that case you can use MDynamicEQ or MFreeformEQ. Just use the red doesn't sound like blue option at the bottom. IMO its often too extreme, so you might want to use the range/wetdry knob to reduce the effect a bit.
