So you're saying he doesnt like a lot of software, and many others dont like lots of software too?Urs wrote:That's putting it in a simple formula. Sure he does. But the way you put it has only one intention, and that is to object to the gravity of what Junkie XL says about us. You move the focus from the specific to the common, i.e. you use a unrelated, agreeable truth to falsify the point in question, and that isn't "he likes us", it is "what he has to say about us". It's a common tactic used by many people on the internet, and not for good cause.AnX wrote:So you're saying he doesnt like a lot of software, and many others dont like lots of software too?Urs wrote:That's putting it in a simple formula. Good point.AnX wrote:So the OP who use the video, in which he ponts out lots of stuff he likes, to single out one company is ok...? Even tho the video is about ALL the software he likes...?

In my opinion the video is underwhelming because there are no coherent arguments given why this or that product is preferred. Some guy has everything but uses only some. Big deal.
Some explanation what for he uses a product or on what project he used it would be interesting information.

In the u-he forum, that's common sense.AnX wrote:So the OP who use the video, in which he ponts out lots of stuff he likes, to single out one company is ok...? Even tho the video is about ALL the software he likes...?

Also even though jxl says a lot of good things about many products, I personally found his superlatives about u-he stuff even more superlativeAnX wrote:So the OP who use the video, in which he ponts out lots of stuff he likes, to single out one company is ok...? I really cant believe this too is an argument on kvr. Jxl 'bigged up' u-he as we say here in ja, and as a u-he fanboi, I was pleased that he did and wanted to share

Well haters gonna hate...
Personally I don't give a damn any more about what some random people on KVR think about stuff, but I do care if it's people who know what they are talking about.
Must be hard for the U-he haters when someone like Junkie XL (or Hans Zimmer) indeed does like and use their products (and Arturia's as well), because we all know that those people with their golden ears and vast analog synth collections and superior musical background clearly know that U-he (or Arturia) is all sounding not analog and digital (and Junkie XL is all fake)...

As you may know some developers have 'bought' subforums on kvr which they do their support from. They have their own moderators different than the larger kvr forum. I don't know if they are allowed to set their own rules.
