What stereo widening method(s) does MStereoProcessor use?

Is it just the delay one side technique or are there other things going on under the hood?

And how exactly is that delay method implemented?

Hi Ron,

yes, it's the classic delay trick. But in general I'd suggest avoiding using it for anything except for fixing the existing stereo field. If you are after artificial stereo, check MStereoSpread.

The secondary is the delay thingy use by most plugins, and it is disabled by default. The primary one is based on complex filtering, that's all I'm allowed to say .
