Hello
When sidechaining a kick drum into the bass track, the low bass frequencies duck as expected. However, I do not hear the kick at all. Am I missing a step here?
I've tried this with MAutoDynamicEQ and MSpectralDynamics.

Are you sending the output of the kick to the plugin?
I guess you are which is why you can no longer here the kick. What you need to do keep the output of the kick normal and add a send. So create a send channel, call it sidekick and route it into the sidechain of your Melda plugin. Now increase the send dial on the kick track to 100%.
