MXXX - nitpick visual bug

Just a small 'visual' bug in MXXX:

1) Insert some DSP into a band
2) Insert a "Modular" into the same band

Now we'll try to copy the DSP into the modular (we want to move it there.. a common task, I presume)

3) Right click the DSP and select "Copy"
4) Go into the modular, right click on some cell and select "Paste"

Result: The DSP doesn't show up, but it seems to get pasted properly under the hood. You will have to click on some other DSP and then click on the modular again to make it show up.

EDIT: The same is true for copy/pasting a DSP anywhere. You'll have to click somewhere to make the pasted DSP show up.

I'm on win10, S1 3.5. I've noticed some other weird GUI behaviors in general on several VSTi:s, probably due to high DPI scaling with two different scalings on a dual-monitor setup. Not sure if this is a "refresh issue" related to that, but I thought I'd mention it in case you can't replicate the behavior.

Same for me

Oh, I always assumed it was me who did something wrong... Perhaps this will be fixed for a future update now?

It might be operating system related - it doesn't seem to happen on a mac (Mac OS 10.11.6 and MXXX v11.04, tested on Live 9 and Reaper) - after step 4 above, the DSP shows up immediately inside the modular and works as expected.

Hmmm, just tried and it seems working fine. Perhaps a screen video? (I assume you are using the newest version?)

No problem here, hm. (See my specs in the signature)

I've updated from 11.02 to 11.04 now.

Everything works as long as i use the "recommended" scaling factor in W10. Otherwise I get this bug (+ resize crash in) in Studio One.

PS.
I am guessing that Melda's GUI drawing is not completely 'separate' from the VST host, but interacts in some way? Even though it looks like a Mxxx bug, I do believe that the problem has more to do with S1 than with Melda plugins. My reason for believing this is that S1 crashes when I try to resize ANY vst window under this dual screen setup - including Melda windows. Still, it seems a bit weird that Melda could 'inherit' this kind of 'refresh' bug from a host, as described in OP :?

Happens to me on 1 monitor in Ableton.

@jmg8,

Do you use something other than "Recommended" scaling factor as well?

In W10, Display settings / "Change the size of text, apps, and other items"

No mine is at 200% (recommend)

Could someone please record that as video? I tried and just no luck... I must be misunderstanding something.
