This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

The only difference I saw is that the Dialogue De-noise plugin now has (singing) vocal presets. Strangely, the upgrade costs twice as much as the Elements themselves.

Maybe?
The single instruments can be activated / deactivated via key switches: C0 (Acoustic Guitar), D0 (Flageolets) and E0 (Psychedelic FX Guitar) while playing. B-1 deactivates all instruments

Yep. It's bringing dynamic into a otherwise static thing. I don't see a point to charge 169 € the whole time for something which hardly sells as many copies as when it was freshly out/just released. It absolutely makes sense to boost sales that way. And i am very happy that companies do this. There still always be enough people who "WANT IT!!!" when it comes out.OneOfManyPauls wrote:They sweep up us cheapsters and inpulse-buyers when they do the offers - people who want/need it at a specific moment in time pay more. I'd think that approach nets more revenue overall compared to just having them constantly at a lower price.
Plus there's the "bargain effect" that many companies use to constantly drive sales - yes waves, I'm looking at you...

I wonder if Izotope will ever allow you to crossgrade from the new Elements plugins to the Music Production Bundle. You can crossgrade from Trash, which is $30 cheaper, as well as from the RX plugin pack, which they're treating as a previous version of RX Elements. I'm hoping they do allow this eventually since I picked up a couple of the Elements plugins and might want to get the Production Bundle somewhere down the line.

I believe one of those stores' newsletters mentioned that they do. Something along the line of "Buy Neutron Elements now and crossgrade to Music Production Bundle 2"Greenstorm33 wrote:I wonder if Izotope will ever allow you to crossgrade from the new Elements plugins to the Music Production Bundle. Huh, interesting. I have neutron elements and I don't have any upgrade offers in my Izotope account
(which is where it sends you when you click "Crossgrade from any Standard Product" on the Production Bundle page). Maybe it's planned but they just haven't implemented it yet?

this is from KVR's newsletter, exact wording:
Those two paragraph are two pictures, side by side, but I just assumed they're speaking of crossgrade from the same product (Ozone 7 Elements).Own any Izotope product (including Ozone 7 Elements)? Crossgrade to Neutron for £77.95/$99
or get the Complete Studio Treatment and Crossgrade to Music Production Bundle 2 for 70% off

Yeah, that seems to be what is implied. Thanks for digging that up for me
I guess when I'm ready to get the Production Bundle I'll have to message support to see how you get the crossgrade...maybe I'm just misunderstanding it.
