They seemed to have sorted out few things which really, really pissed me off.

Even though there is alot to make me spend my grant money on this (when I get it) Id rather see what Jules comes up with because he's cool :)

A serious amount of thinking has gone into Trackton so far. The filter and rack ideas are incredebly clever.

Give him time to do his thing :)

Definitely. I'm not goin anywhere just yet .

Anybody catch the S4 video?? Very cool stuff in there. I more impressed with S4 than with Live4 so far.

Lets see what SX3 has in store. Word on the Muzys forum is that Jo is working for Steinberg now. Of course they sayd that about Ableton too. :D

I just watched the video and dug through the specs.. a pretty amazing piece of work! At an equally high end price, of course...

Worth the upgrade price if you own Sonar already, no doubt.

Yes the video although short gives you a good idea as to how useful the new features are.

As for SX3 there a fair few forums with these exact details for SX3

- audio warp realtime stretching...This has to be Live's audio warp alogorithim and for me explains why Live4 came out this summer...to avoid having two new products with the same warp engine coming out at the same time. Ableton must have done a deal and wanted to get Live 4 out before SX3. That may even have been part of the deal...

- pattern style arranging (This is an answer to Cakewalks Project 5)

Effectively combining the best features of Live 4 and Project 5 in one application.

I know.. I know just rumours but we will see in about a week or less. But if it is true...         :-o  :o  :D

Steinberg remix did use it... 8)

Sonar 4 PE is also available to registered Cakewalk users for $349. So buy Plasma 2003, say, for $49 and you can save a big bundle regardless of street price.

Good advice. Thanks.

I really wanna give the demo a test run. Hopefuly they have one soon.
