Just re-installing Zebra and Diva on a new PC - can anyone advise the latest versions so I am sure I have the most recent version installed?

Just go to www.u-he.com because it will have the latest?

I don't see anywhere there where it says what the latest versions are.

Nonetheless you will download the latest stable versions when you download them from their site.

Ofcourse it doeasnt because its obvious those will be the latest versions since there are no other versions. You think u-he secretly hiding some never versions? No they dont. Just use your common sense :-)

We use a "revision number" rather than a version to identify how current (or not) a plug-in is. In pretty much all of our UIs you'll find a "Rev. 3998" or something. That is so because sometimes a new version (2.1.0 or something) is being built and tested a few times, each with a new revision number. So only revision numbers really identify a distinct state of the plug-in development.

On our websites, on each product page, right above the download links we post what the latest revision is, and what was changed/added/fixed last. Therefore, for Zebra it's 3898 and for Diva it's 4078.

But then of course we also publicly beta test upcoming updates and releases. These are usually newer than what's on our website, but they are in beta status. You find them in the sticky topics of our forum. That also means, downloads found in non-sticky topics are generally old.

One simple way to help communicate whether or not a newer version may be out (at least to folks who may not be on your mailing list or checking forums regularly) is to post the date the most recent update was released on the website. If I see that the last build is 13 months old, chances are I'm up to date, but if I see a build is only two months old, I'll know whether or not I updated that recently. It's not a perfect solution, but just one more potential/easy way to help communicate to your customers.

I guess I am the opposite. The date on the website, despite downloading a newly purchased product, had me wondering is this really up to date?

October 2015 update:
Zebra V2.7.2 (rev 3898)
In a world where our android apps and games, even PC steam games get updated every few months, even if only bug fixes, such an old date threw me off. I concluded ok I must be on the latest version. The date on the website must have not been updated in forever.

So on the case of U-he, the dates on the website brings no reassurance, at least for me. I think zebra is a great product but that date NEEDS to be changed to ease minds. It says 2015 and it's 2017!
