That's weird, maybe some CPU / power save mode? Indeed it seems quite some people are having such problems, I am still running fine, keeping my fingers crossed.
If it's some CPU power saving issue, then this is the only program that is sensitive to those settings. I can run another DAW with no problems. I guess if Bitwig said it had to do with the BIOS C1E, C3/C6 or EIST settings, that would be something concrete to work with, but I'm not messing with those otherwise. I filed a report a while ago about the issue, but I haven't heard back, so I'm guessing they have no idea why some people seem to be plagued by these glitches and others are not.

There is definitely an issue with some VSTs (especially VST3s), but I have carefully curated which ones I use now, and what I have experienced today is different - before, if there was a 'bad' VST on a track, the project would glitch all the time, and removing that VST would solve the problem.

@malgre

I'm in a similar place. Support has been helpful in that they're not ignoring me, but I've had this issue for a couple of months and at this point I have to ask myself if I want to try and debug bitwig (without any kind of internal visibility) or work on music. The answer is obvious.

I agree completely. There are many things I like about Bitwig (the modulators are great, that way of working makes so much sense). But for my sanity and productivity, I can't keep wasting days trying to get it to work reliably.
