Hi Kv331,
I noticed a strange behaviour when clicking in the routing diagram of Synthmaster One. It's in the last three icons: filter 1, filter 2 and Amp envelope.
If I click on Filter 1 (first icon), I can turn it on or off. That's ok, that's expected.
If I click on the 3rd icon, Filter 2 turns on (which turn out to be the second icon). If I click the 3rd icon again, nothing happens. To switch of Filter 2, I have to click the second icon.
If Filter 1 and 2 are both engaged (in serial), the last icon is Amp Env 2, but if Filter 2 (or both filters) is off, the second icon (formerly Filter 2) becomes Amp Env 1.
So in some cases Amp Env 1 is used, in others Amp env 2, and when turned on, the second icon is Filter 2, and if turned of the second icon is an Amp Env.
So if I create a sound, with only Filter 1 active, and setup Amp Env 1 to match my sound, then if I engage Filter 2, the Amp Env suddenly completely changes to what's setup in Amp Env 2.
I find this very confusing? Is there a logic behind this?
regards, Frank

Hi. This is what I don't understand too. Especially the moment when you engage the second filter (in serial mode), then AMP 1 doesn't function anymore and the task is taken over by AMP2! (so you have to set the parameters again, as it was in AMP1) (does it mean that AMP1 becomes unused and can be used for other targets?Mc UB wrote:

Very strange. In my opinion both Filters Volume knobs must share the AMP1. Otherwise it is very unintuitive. Or it is a bug?

Ok, what I found is that once you activate the filter two in serial mode, the first AMP 1 envelope becomes unused (it doesn't affect the Volume in filter 1 anymore) and you can use it for any other tasks as a source. So this is a nice behaviour.
