there is a new setting file for AME with month 8 and name as default in. all other settings presets are unchanged and older. when load this new setting file in, then it is as Liang write. if you want load an old setting, better set blue slider to 46 instead of 42. if you do this not, the patterns that use 1/4 mute use half mute and sound diffrent and not good

Thanks. I have the new settings now. I assumed the update would have loaded the new defaults automatically, especially since my project with AME suddenly sounded all wrong.
I don't use the riffer but I am setting velocities manually in Cubase. Now that I understand how this works it should be easy to restore everything the way it was.
