Just checked an both downloads are built on the same date.
Protection is a keyfile so should work on both versions.

I caved as I has some virtual cash left over to make this even cheaper.

Makes a nice mulitband analyser at the very least

Could you maybe demo it a bit and give me your impressions on using it as a primary EQ? Don't have the $ so trying to decide between this and DDMF IIEQ Pro.

Im on Win10 64 bit and like the Mac user above it wont authorise.

I tried versions from PB and direct from audioD3CK.
Installed as admin, ran the standalone as admin and ran my host as admin.
No luck so Ive messaged the Dev

That's good news, sort of. Since this seems to be a more widespread issue there are a reasonable chance that this will get fixed soon.

Somebody mentioned a waves Gold to Platinum upgrade for less than 100$...maybe I was too late, but is that price for real and still around?

From what I can see, you missed it. And yes.. it was real, I upgraded for $85.55 at AudioDeluxe with coupons.

The main difference is the Q behavior.

E = Constant Q.
G = Variable Q, it varies dynamically based on how much gain you are using.

Also, E has some bell curves which the G lacks.

The answer to if you need it: Try the demo and see if you like the sound of its variable Q behavior.

By the way, I don't like the Waves SSL E / G anyway. They're very old, and they've got cramping issues in the high frequencies. Check out the newly released Brainworx bx_console E for a very living, 3-dimensional emulation which properly takes into account all channel behaviors.

This is an INSANE deal. Well, there's one less in stock now..
We have an Upgrade to Komplete 11 Ultimate left over from the recent half price sale.

FWIW, the real E Channel is generally more sought after than the real G Channel
