If Shreddage complete is not enough, then those 2 products worth less than the total is not a make/break point.mgw38 wrote:They need to keep them secret in order to get more sales. I already have most of their products or I would dive on this.

I'm not in the market for guitars, just a little OCD about not knowing.thejonsolo wrote:If Shreddage complete is not enough, then those 2 products worth less than the total is not a make/break point.mgw38 wrote:They need to keep them secret in order to get more sales. I tried versions from PB and direct from audioD3CK.
Installed as admin, ran the standalone as admin and ran my host as admin.
No luck so Ive messaged the Dev
I've had no response from the Dev, I suggest you steer clear of audioD3CK

Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of Impact Soundworks and dig everything they do. One of their founders actually is an alumnus of our college. My comment was more of a general observation.thejonsolo wrote:If Shreddage complete is not enough, then those 2 products worth less than the total is not a make/break point.mgw38 wrote:They need to keep them secret in order to get more sales. I was able to reach him on Facebook. Basically PluginBoutique was not supposed to release V2 of the plugin. He then suggested I buy only from his website where the price is even higher than DDMF IIEQ Pro, which has some sort of a verifiable reputation.mgw38 wrote:Same here. Price now 80 USD on Plugin Boutique but yes unreliable developer. I understand its a one man show but this is not professional. And way overpriced.
Count me out. Sorry if any time was unduly wasted on my account.

Uses iLok manager but no physical iLok required. Most of the FX will be of similar quality to what you already have in your DAW imho but a few nice bits in there. Loom can create some nice textures but I find the inability to move the order of modules a bit frustrating when designing sounds. Vacuum Pro can get some good dirty, lofi tones and Hybrid 3 has a good sound but might be a bit too clean for some. Velvet has a good selection of sounds but I don't use it as much as say the electric pianos in Kontakt or Addictive Keys nowadays. The piano and organ are useable but not that versatile.Gappar wrote:AIR Instrument Expansion Pack 3 Complete upgrade (full collection of AIR instruments + expansions) is on sale on Pluginboutique.com
You can upgrade if you own any AIR plugin, including Xpand2, which they were giving away (and even selling for 1$) months (and even more than a year) ago.
Last year around this time they were also having this upgrade on sale, and it's even cheaper now (60£/65€/80$)
Does anybody know these instruments? Is the pack worth the price? Do they use any ugly DRM?
Xpand is a sampler with really cool sounds, but I don't know about the capabilities of the synths... ¿Any word?
I think it's a good buy for the money as we're talking less than £10 for each instrument but I've found that as I've expanded my plugin collection, they're no longer what I'd term my "go to" instruments. If you're on a budget, it's worthwhile. If you have money to spare, I'd suggest looking for more versatile and capable instruments. Should be youtube videos for each if you want an idea of their capabilities.

Loom and vacuum pro are surprisingly good synths imo - well worth downloading the trial versions and giving them a whirl.Gappar wrote:AIR Instrument Expansion Pack 3 Complete upgrade (full collection of AIR instruments + expansions) is on sale on Pluginboutique.com

So the solution is that we paid for something that we did not get. And in case we actually want to get what we paid for we need to buy it again?axb312 wrote:I was able to reach him on Facebook. Thanks for the answers, guys. I've checked videos and read a little bit about what each of the synths is about. I've also tried the Loom demo.OneOfManyPauls wrote:Loom and vacuum pro are surprisingly good synths imo - well worth downloading the trial versions and giving them a whirl.
The synths do seem interesting (specially the Riser, a synth specifically made for FX and risers) but they don't seem to offer anything interesting that my other VSTs don't offer already.
I think I'll pass, because I don't see having to learn 10 new synths being worth it, and the iLok manager is a bit of a pain in the ass.

The FX package is dope. Loom is nice, similar to a bunch of Reactor plugins I also own. Riser is handy, but I always throw some glitch effect after it so that I’m not sounding like presets all the time. Vacuum Pro and their other synth (forgot the name, not Xpand) are serviceable. The drum/groovebox stuff I’ve never bothered to install and the rest is meh.Gappar wrote:AIR Instrument Expansion Pack 3 Complete upgrade (full collection of AIR instruments + expansions) is on sale on Pluginboutique.com

JRR are doing the Xhun Audio Little One 3 for $40 - I know it's got a pointlessly accurate interface that matches the Little Phatty, and the demo from Ujiie sounds pretty good - anyone else tried it / compared it?

Looking at the total price and description, it sounds like something I already own - like Sonic Ocean or Forest. It could also be they are giving you a choice of items. But they should say it.mgw38 wrote:Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of Impact Soundworks and dig everything they do. One of their founders actually is an alumnus of our college. I tried this before, but on my mac the trial didn't let me change presets for some reason. Just downloaded it again now, and I still can't change presets.gunark wrote:JRR are doing the Xhun Audio Little One 3 for $40 - I know it's got a pointlessly accurate interface that matches the Little Phatty, and the demo from Ujiie sounds pretty good - anyone else tried it / compared it?

Even moog do a software editor for the hardware synth to make it easier to craft patches - I really don't get why they've copied the hardware experience - it makes it stupidly time consuming.
I've had a play, and although I don't own a little phatty, I have a sub 37, and this plugin doesn't have the "juice" of that. For the price, I'd probably stretch to The Legend for a more analog moog vibe.

Cheers - I've kept away from Legend (great though it is) due to having the P900 so I'm guessing this'll be a bit pointless too. Don't want to start that Phatty GAS either!OneOfManyPauls wrote:I tried this before, but on my mac the trial didn't let me change presets for some reason.
