My biggest problem with using Melda plugs is really just GUI related...

Basically I really like the basic EQ but this Node system with these ugly huge Q handles and thick lines destroy everything...
If I compare this to an equal simple EQ... the point goes clearly to ToneBoosters here with an even smaller GUI as MEQ in it´s smallest size

Same problem with this massive panel on the right hand side... would be nice if this could be collapseable as for me I touch this thing twice in a year and it just takes screen space...

Heh, I wouldnt hold my breath...

I do think changing the graphic would do wonders for its appearance.
Maybe a thin line, and filled "small" circles, they could match the
shade of the band markers. No doubt there is some shape folks
would find more appealing.

Artist rendition 4 ya.

1. GUI is a matter of taste. I like the melda style better.
2. Yes, collapsable is a fine thing, but I for example, use the compare-buttons A to H almost every session.

Really with that fat overlapping horizontal Q handels???
I find that more than confusing and it´s easy to grab the wrong one if they are more or less on the same horizontal level... simple mousewheel scroll for changing the Q like all the others do works way better (for me)

Therefore it´s switchable :-)

I stopped using Melda Plugins for this very reason

And I started using Melda Plugins for this very reason

 I think I will stop using Melda.
I had a client say to me.....
"We absolutely love the work you've done, it sounds amazing! But we don't like the look of your plugins"
"We're going to your your competitor, as they use FabFilter"

you have 3 ways
1.use the tab under it and adjust it from there
2.resize the window as all melda plugin are resized
3.use the maginfer or your mouse wheel to zoom in

and personally i use melda eq due to its harmonic feature to either emit or add harmonics at custom shifted semitones which i guess is not available in any other free eq

and if you still dont want to use it due to one thing that can be dealt eazily
then who are we to stop you and i think reapers in built eq is dope enough with infinite bands
REAPER, Phase Plant , Unfiltered Audio TRIAD and LION, NI classic collection,......... ETC

aren´t really useful... that smells more like playschool mentality...

From what I have read on the web, I´ve never encountered another software developer got so many claims about the GUI´s like Melda...

Don´t get me wrong... I like the plugins, their flexibility, their possibilities...
Just a FR from my side

Vojtech has already done huge changes at the gui and I think he stops searching for alternatives. There were already some huge discussions about the gui and I think this will never end. People like it or not. But take a look at the gui two until four years back. Great work Vojtech.

Agreed, it's very subjective and you can't please everyone.

I like the new GUI´s in general...
It´s only about this EQ nodes with their Q handles...

I for myself don't use the handles at the sides of the nodes and Trancit is right I also get Into trouble with overlapping handles and nodes. I change the q with my mousewheel and holding strg for fine adjustments. The handle under the node is usefull for dynamic stuff. But could also be obsolete with a shortcut. Maybe Vojtech can add a setting for the handles, like the lock hide button for all paramters. Sorry, now it gets a feature request. But I think I already asked for this in the past.
Too much features, too much requests. Sorry
