heh, I could give a crap about freeze unless its real time over the selected range. But, on the not worth telling stuff are some HUGE things.allemaniac wrote:if you understand german:
freeze function now includes insert effects and the freezed track can be removed out of memory.
and some more things not worth telling.
Thanks, looks interesting.allemaniac wrote:if you understand german:

those are mentioned in the picture (in german).$$$ Audio clip management from the project window
$$$ Being able to edit automation as an overlay in the audio window
$$$ Being able to have the MIDI Editor open in the project window lane.
that's how it is.I don't know much German, but it looks like the VST instrument channel is displayed when the MIDI track is selected. There was a topic a while ago where I requested this exact feature, it should mean there is much less need for the mixer to be open (which is nice). The relation between MIDI and VSTi seems much more logical now.
Yes, you can (it's mentioned on the picture).Alfalfa wrote: The big one I'm waiting for is to see if there are any changes to make accessing the audio output of VSTs in the main view.
You know you can lock the inspector windows open and get direct access to those output settings without having to scroll or open a mixer right?alfalfa wrote: The big one I'm waiting for is to see if there are any changes to make accessing the audio output of VSTs in the main view.
Uhmm, yes I know. I quoted the thread that linked the picture where he says stuff about freeze and some other stuff not worth mentioning. I was just saying that the other stuff is damn well worth mentioning.allemaniac wrote: those are mentioned in the picture (in german).
Ben, that looks like a studio panel for the Roland JD990 synth, not a VSTi. The panel on the right looks like a routing table.. This allows the treatment of external hardware as though it was another plugin.Glooper wrote:I assume JD990 is a VSTi?..
btw... where are you finding these pictures?
