MDynamics has a "Use secondary input channel" in its Side-chain panel (and other plug-ins have various "side-chain" buttons at the top of various panels).
But how do I enable that input in MDynamicsMB? I've stared and stared but cannot see it.

OK, I see the Side-chain panel in MDynamicMBLarge (one I did not know existed!).
But, MDynamicsMB has 4 input channels, the last two named "Sidechain L" and "Sidechain R". Fix needed, to change that declaration?

I don't follow, it should be the same in all plugins.

>>> https://i.imgur.com/sc904c0.pngBoth plug-ins have 2 main and 2 side-chain inputs. But I cannot see any way to select the external sidechain in the _MB plug-in.

The sidechain is in most plugins, because you can use it for modulators

Sorry, but what in the world is this for an answer?!MeldaProduction wrote: Thu Sep 14, 2017 12:22 pm The sidechain is in most plugins, because you can use it for modulators.
Gee: so does MDynamicsMB have the sidechain or not? I mean, in Cubase there is the option, but once selected, exactly as previous commenter said, there is absolutely no way to use it as it is missing the sidechian section in the GUI.
On the other hand, MDynamicsMBLarge does have it - now go, figure out any logic behind this as I can't!
Please, if you can, answer in straight understandable way, how is it, can you?
In case it cannot use it why in the world the option is there at all - why don't you have sidechian options ONLY FOR PLUGS THAT CAN MAKE USE OF IT???
BTW: I just created account here only for the reason so that I would get normal answer on this matter once for all...

You can use the sidechain input with some of the modulators:qraqatit wrote: Mon Jan 16, 2023 10:04 amSorry, but what in the world is this for an answer?!MeldaProduction wrote: Thu Sep 14, 2017 12:22 pm The sidechain is in most plugins, because you can use it for modulators.
