quit promoting that anti-Jewish film you "Christian" heretic. That torture fest is in no way a call to the righteous. Yeshua was a blasphemer, an idolator, and a false prophet.
Well, if that wasn't the most uncalled for, un-needed post in a long time.

Hey, if you don't like the movie, don't watch it. And if it bothers you that the website address for the movie is in his signature, then get over it.

I mean no disrespect to you or your beliefs, but it's idiotic to run someone down because of their beliefs. I personally have seen the movie, and I know my religious history and the Bible. And let me say, you have no idea what you are talking about with your statements in the above post.

Now, if you have a problem with me, I don't care. I will sleep the same. But christianmusicmaker happens to be my friend on this forum, and he hasn't said anything to you, so give it up. If you have a genuine concern or question, please PM me. Cheers!

daizo is a prick, always has been always will be; he turns up about once every fortnight to tell us all about the wonderful new dual-Opteron system he's going to buy, or to spew some childish abuse. Its all he's ever done (check his old posts and you'll see). File under 'asshole', and ignore.

Hehe, it's ok. Thanks for the head's up! I guess I was a little grumpy last night and wanted to jump in.

Now, back to the topic. Sorry! So when is T2 coming out Jules? I need exact dates please! Oh, and screenshots would be nice. Would it be possible to include the Vienna Symphonic Library for free with this version? I love extras! :D

eeek... slightly excessive quoting there KoolKeys. I've read that feature list about eight times now in the T forums. If I read it too many more times I'm gonna start reciting it in my sleep. :-o

maybe he doesn't know how to edit a quote... :?

Sorry, I know how to edit a quote, but didn't think about it. As I said, I was tired and grumpy and just wanted to respond. I didn't mean to make you read it yet again. :?

I'd like that, plus the entire Voxengo line of plugins, included as well! And how about replacing Tracktions sampler with Kontakt? :P

 :P  :P  :P

Here's hoping it ships before the end of the year!

Thanks for all your support guys, I hold no grudges against him and frankly have forgotten about it already...

Get this...

Cubase SX3 takes music production to a new level by adding more than 70 new features including powerful Audio Warp Realtime Timestretching,(if this is Live 4 functionality in Cubase SX3)   an intuitive Play Order Track, convenient Inplace Editing and many new editing functions.

For the first time, a native music production system combines full-featured audio and MIDI recording and editing, virtual instruments and powerful audio mixing with the added flexibility of loop- and pattern-based arranging and mixing.

Cubase SX3 supports Windows XP and Mac OSX and works with a multitude of audio interfaces. Add to that the seamless integration of external audio and MIDI hardware, and Cubase SX3 redefines music production technology.

SX3

What now for T2?

I would still buy Tracktion 1.61 over Sonar 4 or Cubase SX 3. I have had it with Cubase SX's behind-the-curve functionality and Sonar's convoluted interface.

Sonar's got the copy-protection advantage, but that's not enough to overcome Tracktion's fantastic price and far more intuitive workflow. Cakewalk, unfortunately, will not win my business without a serious overhaul of Sonar's interface.

Likewise, Steinberg will not gain my patronage without dropping their increasingly-unfriendly copy protection mechanisms. They will require a much better freeze function in Cubase SX, too.

Until then, Tracktion wins, even in its current form. I would like to see dual-processor and hyperthreading support in the next version, as well as a built-in step sequencer that makes drum programming a breeze. But even without them, Tracktion has already won me over.

So basically, it's Cubase, but with loop-manipulation.

Gotta say, I don't understand what the hoopla is. ;)

Tracktion is good indeed, about 85% of the time. There are still things that drive me nuts (MIDI editing, even after months of use, bugs me), lack of ghost clips (hmm eXT has this), those are the worst. I'd love collapsible groups, but not as much as the MIDI reworking (which rumor has it will happen for T2).

The deafening silence is kind of annoying, though. And heaven help me if I need to do audio for DVD, I guess I could get Wavelab for that!

Yep

Tracktion does the job 90% of the time. What bothers me is my lack of inspiration that's guilty for that last 10%.

A step sequencer would be very useful.I think T2 will be something like this...

1.Big improvement on midi features.

2.More Acuma plugs.

3.Possible update to final mix.

4.Unlikely but a mixer may make an appearance.

5.I think the price may not go up..if it does I think it will be sub $100.

6.Very good upgrade price for existing users.

7.Possible DXI wrapper.

8.Rewire slave and master?

9.Some sort of nod towards video features.

10.Simple send function.

11.Better time stretching alogorithim.

12.Very good value for money.

Juts guessing of course  apart from no.12 8)

That is indeed the only point that I really desire!
