Posting it for ya...amazing work, mod.ModuLR wrote:that being said, I use the tracktion's rack filters to build my own instruments and manglers which ultimately is far more useful to me than any synth that has come packaged with OPlat (probably why I never upgraded beyond OPlat4).

definately not native...
and maybe that's the subtle point... I'd enjoy native synths and effects a lot more if they were all made by Smart Electronix! As opposed to all this "normal" stuff you see packaged with everything. The only host which has really done that with something native, would be something like wavetraveller and the granualizer in FL (unfortunately FL doesn't quite fit the workflow).

same here, tried many times (not very hard tho). not for me (same with FL).chagzuki wrote:I like the Orion instruments, but not Orion as a host. Bummer really.
I also have Trinity but have never bothered to use it's sequencer (and sounds for that matter, except for live use). Is it really usable?BONES wrote: The Trinity's sequencer is still the second best arranging environment for me.

In Logic Audio Platinum 5.5 (Windoze).
EVP88 - I love this electric piano
EVB3 - This too, great organ
EVD6 - Fantastic Clavinet, but I don't use it much.
ES1 - Good, basic poly synth. But a few bugs with saving patches.
ES2 - Monster poly synth, great modulation matrix.
EXS24 - Good sampler with great modulation matrix as well. Haven't used it that much until recently though, I still prefer my hardware Kurzweil for playing with samples.
ESP - Basic Juno-esque synth. Okay though, if you like that kinda thing.
ESM - Mono bass synth. FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC..!
I think I've forgotten a couple....
They're all good quality and come with lots of usefull presets which are easy to tweak. I reckon the synths (and FX) alone justify the price of Logic. If no other VSTs existed it would still be possible to make complex arrangements using the above (just wish I could write some decent tunes though).
