Ok So let me get this straight I currently have t-racks MAX 4. When T-racks 5 comes out I'll get all the new versions of 5 for all the plugins I own in T-racks Max for free? Updated to the New T-racks 5 Plugins with all the improved sound and oversampling?

If you buy the $99 upgrade then yes otherwise no. You would then also get the new modules too.systmu wrote:Ok So let me get this straight I currently have t-racks MAX 4. There is mention of a free CS version at some point in the future but even Peter can't offer much info about that so don't assume too much there.

S'matter cupcake ? Someone take your Dinosaur away ? I love you, you love me we're just one big family.......musicalwarmth812 wrote:What a d***!...boooooooooooo!Teksonik wrote:I forgot to mention....thank God the silly Dinosaur Logo is gone....there I said it.....
The Logo never really bothered me that much but I'm glad it's gone. Looked out of place.
Anyway I'll be getting the upgrade. If the new "One" plugin sounds as good as it looks it might be worth the price of admission alone. I can imagine it being used on every project. New EQ looks interesting as well.

i kinda loved the T-Rex logo. it was cute. i don't know why people have such an objection to it.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

@Peter: I apologize in case this has already been answered, but I don't really feel like reading 18 pages first.
I have about 18 T-Racks plug-ins (some are part of the regular TR bundle, some are from Deluxe, some are from Max). It's really an individual collection. If I buy the upgrade for 99 €/$, will I get all my TR plug-ins updated to version 5? Or only the ones I already own that are part of the regular (9 processors) package?

A simple yes or no by Peter would help me too. That is what I was trying to get at that is confusing about the IKM offer to me.Skorpius wrote:@Peter: I apologize in case this has already been answered, but I don't really feel like reading 18 pages first.

I just want to upgrade everything I own. But the 99 dollar package doesnt seem to come with all plugins I own that are version 4.

As Peter said already, when T-Racks 5 is installed, ALL the plug-ins we currently own will get "upgraded" to version 5. By "upgraded" it means they will get a new GUI (scalable), and some will benefit from a better audio engine built in version 5, namely regarding oversampling.VitaminD wrote:A simple yes or no by Peter would help me too. For those overwhelmed by the previous 18 pages, both content and volume, I have added an ad hoc FAQ on our forum that answers many of these questions http://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/vie ... 13&t=14225

Browsing through the IK threads here at KvR, there usually is quite some bashing going on from angry people, but Peter always handles everything in a friendly manner. I've been in customer service for a long time myself, so I know how hard it is to keep a balance between keeping guide lines of a company on the one hand and pleasing customers on the other - those don't always go well together.
Hats off for that - thank you, Peter.

No one on the face of the earth, hated that thing more than I did. Having said that, I like all of the GUI revamping they did to T-Racks 5. A huge plus also, is the ability to go full screen. Great work on the part of IK.Teksonik wrote:I forgot to mention....thank God the silly Dinosaur Logo is gone....there I said it.....

That would be pretty cool if Sampletank 3 could go full screen. Syntronik does this very nicely. I get this feeling that they might merge the two products together into one. Sort of like a Halion 6 type workstation if you will. Of course they would do it in their own fashion, which would probably be a hell of a lot easier to use. Who knows.chili beans wrote:Hopefully Sampletank 3 will go full screen next.Orbit-50 wrote:No one on the face of the earth, hated that thing more than I did. I like what I'm seeing as of late, where, as if out of nowhere, some developers are moving forward quickly while others are staying behind and resting on their laurels. I'm really digging the ones that are moving forward. It's about time.
