It provides instant mapping and preset management of most plugins. Also, it does this cool thing where it pre-loads the next instrument in your preset list to making it faster to scroll through presets.Numanoid wrote:I don't get why anybody would pay money for AKAI VIP, I mean haven't a user already got a DAW.

No, Toontrack is very strict about pricing. They allow us to sell at lower prices than them on many products but we can't provide any extra discounts beyond those prices.Omkar wrote:2h now before Toontrack opens the store door, SD 3 doesn`t allow individual shop discount(s) ?

It sounds to me that our email may have gotten caught by your spam filter. This has been happening a lot recently. If you're ever missing a license from us, please log into your JRR account and you can find it there.Darksynth FX wrote:Anybody else waiting for the license for the BLUE CAT AUDIO OSCILLOSCOPE MULTI from JRR Shop which is on sale now for a really nice price of $11.99? Bought it last Friday, I guess it just takes a while for them to get the license, but I got a license faster with another purchase from them.

I'm not sure L2 would be useful if you already have L1 and L3.systmu wrote:l2 for $23 this is a no brainer right? Been using l1 all this time and just got l3 but also have ozone. still should pick up just in case right

I like this way of putting it, and think a reasonable question to ask - does there exist any sort of "E" features for SampleTank 3 versus SampleTank 3 CS? If so that may give us an idea of the benefits of purchasing.shidostrife wrote: If you download TR5 CS after it's released, you'll have:
features A, B, C, D
gear W, X, Y (your current gear, but in their T-racks 5 forms)
if you buy TR5 paid version, you'll have:
features A, B, C, D, E
gear W, X, Y, Z (your current gear, but in their TR5 forms, plus the new gears that come with TR5)
As of now, it was mentioned that features D includes: sonic benefit from the new framework, resizable GUI
but features E (features that exists in paid TR5 but not in TR5 CS) has not been disclosed yet

I have the Akai Advance keyboard, so I have VIP since version 1. It's a great system and it's very cool to make it available for every keyboard. Hopefully, the developers will convert their library to the new native plugin map system. It could be useful to anyone, not just the keyboard owner of the system, like the NKS for NI keyboards.Uncle E wrote:It provides instant mapping and preset management of most plugins. You can make multis with up to 8 patches and there's already a lot of maps available made by Akai for many libraries and effects.

I've mentioned each time that there is no official information about a free version, and any features, inclusions, or limitations etc are TBD.systmu wrote:and what are the limited features? is it sound quality? there was a spot where he stated something a long the lines of while the old plugins haven't been completely remastered they will take advantage of the new sound engine. do the old max plugins take advantage of the new sound engine or is that one of the limited features?

Yep Thanks. And if anyone wants to know Peter informed me in pm that if you currently have t-racks max and buy the $99 upgrade you will have everything and all the new plugins without limitations just as if you bought the full version of t-racks 5 max. I'm Glad we got that cleared upPeter - IK Multimedia wrote: Also, note that many of the questions about T-RackS 5 are answered on our forum in this ad hoc FAQ: http://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/vie ... 13&t=14225

There are interesting $ prices for US customers yet at various shops
causing me to buy via US pals. I`d prefer to take it via JRR myself.
Have to wait end of this month nonetheless.

Are my T-RackS 4.x Singles and Classic, Deluxe, Grand, etc plugins updated in T-RackS 5?
Yes, Singles (and your current 4.x plugins from collections, or purchased a la carte, etc) will be able to take advantage of an updated UI appearance, better integration into modern DAWs, and resizable.
