It has nice potential. Obviously the vocal needs some (auto)tuning so the track gets more tight, but the timbre is interesting. I'd check out throwing some drums in too. Thx for sharing your sparkling creativity!!

New MuLab 7.6.2 available in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/mulab
What's new:
Windows: Put the new .exe and .id files into the M7.6 installation folder.
MacOS: Put the new .app file(s) into the M7.6 installation folder.
What's new:
- Improved the new "Chebyshev II" audio filter: Bandwidth now is a modulatable parameter plus various other improvements and optimizations.
- Test Sine Oscillator: Improved behavior at the Nyquist frequency.
- When using multiple noise generators in a patch it could be that they generated the exact same noise, which is not intended nor appropriate. Each noise generator must be as unique as possible. Fixed.
Windows: Put the new .exe and .id files into the M7.6 installation folder.
MacOS: Put the new .app file(s) into the M7.6 installation folder.

Awsome, jo. from now on, it will be possible to filter certain frequencies more exactly. eg for the construction of a tuner or as the basis for various frequency detectors.mutools wrote:

btw. is it possible to add another higher order-value? thanks

If you put 2 25th order filters serial (ie one after the other) you get a 50th order filter

Is there a bug in the chebyshew bandstop filter? The highs appear right only, the bass on the left. Is that made by purpose?
BTW. How can I select an external audio editor in the settings? It seems to me that only dirs are visible, but no apps? What I am doing wrong?

I don't know what you mean. Pls elaborate.Hanz Meyzer wrote:Is there a bug in the chebyshew bandstop filter? The highs appear right only, the bass on the left. Is that made by purpose?
It only shows .exe files so folders without .exe files will appear empty as they do not contain relevant files.BTW. How can I select an external audio editor in the settings? It seems to me that only dirs are visible, but no apps? What I am doing wrong?
Edit: Ah but i realize you're on Mac. On Mac that MuLab feature is not yet supported. In the next Mac version that preference won't be visible anymore until that feature is also available on Mac.

Hi,
Add the chebyshew 2 bandstop filter to some sound, listen with headphones. The high frequencies will appear on very right panned and the bass very left. Since this is not the case with the other filter modes, i assume that it is a bug.

Cool! I use resonators a lot to emphasise/harmonise the root in a sample, so it's great to see this new module. As usual, it is clean-sounding with parameters that make a difference, and it has modulation inputs for pitch, decay and damping!
