The problem with IR-based effects is that you need a huge library of impulse responses to start with, this means they're not a quick thing to develop. (They also tend to be quite resource intensive and we've tried to keep the internal/DAW Essentials super-light on CPU/memory). But we do hear you 
The DAW Essentials bundle should come with a large number of presets but as Woody said in another thread, if there's an area which you need presets for specifically we might able to add some more..

Oh, there are a ton of IRs available on the internet. Well, at least for guitar cabs! I recently moved to Iceland and left my amp at home, I'm now basically recording with my pedalboard (JPTR FX Apokalypse tube preamp pedal, plus a Malekko 616, 1980 TC Electronic Chorus/ Flanger, that's it. Oh yes, a floor tuner).
My reverb pedal isn't working, so for the first time in ages I opted to use a VST. Reverber8, however, is a bit overwhelming. I need to learn how to use it properly. I have the DAW Essentials, as I upgraded to the big Waveform bundle including Biotek, each single effect only has a handful of presets - this was also viewed negatively by the review on Bonedo.de.
As for guitar IR cabs, a simple "player" would be cool. There are a ton of cab IR's available, yet somehow only Two Notes Engineering W.O.S seems to be the most usable, and appears to use a proprietary format. Apart from that, there aren't all too many usable IR cab sims. Acustica Audio seems to have gone, but there is an IR cab sim bundled with the Kalthallen IRs.
