Anyone has used Sampletank free with Mulab? I can't get it to work.

Yes.
I have Sampletank 2 that work fine with Mulab 7 32bit, and Sampletank 3 that work fine with Mulab 7 64bit.

Thanks for your reply I must be doing something wrong then since I have tried so many times and keep getting an error message for Sampletank 2 and it tells me that Sampletank 3 is a 64 bit plugin and doesn't work in a 32 bit environment. Did oyu have any issues at all installing it?

No issue.
Sampletank 2 is a 32bit plugin so you must use it with Mulab 32bit.
Sampletank 3 is a 64bit plugin so yoj must use it with Mulab 64bit.
Try reinstall Sampletank.
Are you on a Mac ? I'm under Windows 10

I use Windows 10 also. I had no luck with Sampletank 2 on my 32 bit version of Mulab. Installed and reinstalled several times to no avail( i never have had any issue with any other plugins). However, I wasn't aware that the Mulab 64 bit version was out. I am gonna switch to that and see if I have better luck with Sampletank 3 . Thanks!

MuLab has been 64 bit since version 4.3.1 in July 2012. Which version are you using?

For what it's worth: I too use SampleTank 3 Free with MuLab 64 bit current version on Win 10. Works like a charm and is an excellent combo!

BTW, with MuLab and SampleTank 3 Free I would say that one almost needs nothing else. I also use harmonizing tools for vocals (Vielklang CM for a cost of four pounds for the CM issue), but if you need it or not depends on your style of music.

I also use TAL-2 reverb, which is also free and has easily accessible EQ for getting some shimmer to the lead vocal (you could do this with just MuLab stuff too, but I like to have it in jut one place and am not up to speed on how to create my own MUX FX).

Of course I have a bunch of other things downloaded as well, but nothing that sticks out or that I couldn't live without.

Sampletank 3 can read (most of the) ST2 sounds, so go with ST3, it is far better.
