The sound of STM is far superior to any Reaktor ensemble for these specific styles... no debate.

Maybe for you ..... for me and for what I do it's absolutely true.
I have a few well supported techno bangers out strictly made with Softube Modular.
Would never be able to pull that off with just Reaktor 6.
I probably would, but with 100x more effort in mixing and processing and probably
still not be able to come close to what I would achieve with Softube in an hour.
Hell yeah to that! f**king wicked sounding stuff straight out of the synth with no effects or post processing, I really can't think of any other Vst that does that...christian f. wrote:

oh go on, then, oh enlightened one, do spill the beans on what these blessed 'styles' are, explain which rarified sub-sub-sub-genres seemingly exist on emulations of such a tinily specific palette of Eurorack modules...christian f. wrote: For specific styles STM is pure gold and worth every penny !
These modules are obviously carefully created and not rushed, which is what like.
This allows you to actually grow with the system and modules and master them, so every time a new module is released you understand the real impact on your sound.

Modular has some good things, but until they finish it (namely with a proper patch management), it's a no go for me. And I will not spend a single cent more on something that's still unfinished more than one year after its launch.Stan Navi wrote:It is becoming "Which opinion is better.." thread.
Reaktor and Modular are great in their own way! Just accept it!
But what if I have the wrong stuff for my specific styles?Stan Navi wrote:Reaktor and Modular are great in their own way! Just accept it!
