Hello all!
could someone please give me a step by step description of how to setup MMorph in Cubase properly?
I would like to use this plugin with 2 instrument tracks and morph the sound of the two synths.
Thanks in advance!

Put MMorph on an audio track then set the output of a second audio track to the sidechain input of MMorph.
Not sure of the exact menu wording as i don't use Cubase. But if this doesn't help, others will probably give you more detailed instructions.

Thanks but I don´t quite understand why audio tracks?
I want to morph the sounds of 2 synths, no audio but midi directly.
Unfortunately, the manual is very vague. This is the only thing I found about it:
To route MIDI to the plugin, simply create a new MIDI track and select the plugin as its output.
Which plugin?? MMorph or the synth?
And how to route the midi sound from the second synth?

midi is a control signal. it doesn't contain information about the sound itself but rather when a note starts, ends, its pitch, velocity, ... what results do you expect from morphing these abstract information? why don't you want to morph the timbre/character of the synthesized sounds?

The synth mate, not the midi.SmartCat wrote:Thanks but I don´t quite understand why audio tracks?

OK, let me try again. Set up 2 tracks we will call them A and B.
Put a synth on both tracks.
Now on track B set it's output to the input of MMorph (which is on track A)

Thank you! I tried exactly what you described but it´s not working
Don´t know what I´m doing wrong..
When I click on the output of track B, I don´t see MMorph in the list. I loaded MMorph as insert in track A.
Maybe the workflow is too different and more complicated in Cubase compared to other DAW´s.
Here is what I tried so far:
Added two instrument tracks, track A has a synth and track B has another synth loaded.
Next I assigned MMorph as insert in track A in the mixer console.
Now, when I go to the output of track B, I should see MMorph in the list? But I don´t.

Yes this all sounds correct to me. Not sure why its not in the list. Have you successfully routed sidechains in Cubase before?
I know the boss uses Cubase and he will more than likely shed some light on this for you.

Oh, I must of missed that. I was sure that in MMorph the sidechain is automatically active. I'm not in front of my computer to check.c0nan wrote:You have to activate sidechain on the plugin, then it should appear in output and send sections.
