They did that small/big thing with the other v2's (eg decimort/devastator), so I expect it'll be that again.Numanoid wrote:Even if it is not stated, I expect a resizeable GUI

We have it, as well:Numanoid wrote:Is Don't Crack the only vendor running promo on Arturia V for $249 ?

It is the same price I have in my Arturia account, but I already own v4.

Arturia doesn't allow us to give extra discounts but I can throw in a free plugin.

epiphaneia wrote:+1, it´s strange that they have a ton of libraries on offer (apparently they are selling enough of these to make it a viable business), but there´s nearly no talk on them to be found online.mgw38 wrote:The Ueberschall anniversary sale is tempting. Any thoughts on that? I did not yet buy into the Ueberschall ecosystem but I have to admit that their elastik player looks pretty neat.
I am currently digging through all the library descriptions, and a lot of the libraries seem to be construction kits for advertising, TV background music etc (Ueberschall themselves advertise many libraries like that), and the demo bank confirms that feeling ("mix", "full rhythm", "bd", "sd", "hh", etc - lego blocks for assembling pre-made songs). If that´s what´s needed, the demos largely sound very good, so when someone ever asks me for "that scene needs a bit of thrash metal, but we won´t pay to license some famous band´s song", I know where to go.
But there´s quite a few libraries that seem to be suited for regular musical use, too. I´ll probably drop $$$ on this one: https://www.ueberschall.com/de/product/149/Ambient and if it´s good, I´ll report
I bought their Dubstep library back in 2012. To be honest, yes, they are pretty well recorded but in the end they are IMHO pretty limited construction kits with a somewhat novel playback engine. There is really not much that you could use their libraries for, although the suggestion for TV ads might be just about right. I am downloading the Dubstep one again to see if I missed something back then, but I'm pretty sure I ended up dismissing it as a fairly useless toy. There are better things to spend your money on.

Another lackluster TrackSpark month, maybe the poorest so far.
What we get? Audified MultiDrive Pedal valued at $19, and just a sampler sample back by ElectroniSound, with an offer to buy the full pack at $5 (instead of $15)

Theyre pretty useful to me...I use them for Maschine expansions which are generally the best soundsets made anywhereNumanoid wrote:+1Nobdi wrote:I would have been totally fine with NOT getting a voucher at all when upgrading to Komplete - other than getting a practicly useless one.
The NI marketing guys should really have a thorough think about it.

So I assume that at least some of you also managed to snag the free Waves Dorrough Stereo meter this afternoon? What the hell was that, a drive by freebie? Mistake? It seemed like a weird promotion to me. Did someone roll out something live that wasn't supposed to go live just yet? There sure wasn't any email.

Promo link is still up, but, there's no button and it says "promo has ended" right at the top.

Yes, well, shit happens. I'm just speculating on whether or not this was a mistake? This is the gossip thread, right?Fleer wrote:Would have been great if someone could have posted this here.ghettosynth wrote:It came across my facebook feed, but the promo was live on Waves site for about an hour.
