307 tasks in 4 months, and 50 more before beta...

So thats...

4 months = ~122 days

307 / 122 = 2.51 tasks completed per day

50 tasks to go...

50 / 2.51 = 19.87 fingers crossed...

then 2 weeks minimum for beta testing and preset manufacture...should be like making sausages...

19.87 + 14 = 33.86 days

so with zero new bugs intercepted Repro-5 should be here by say November 8th 8)

The u-he team must have re-written half the codebase by now. :o

I've suggested this in the past, and don't expect it by any means, but it would be very nice if the oscillator mapping could have a mode that allowed for a single MIDI CC to cycle through the various oscillator waveforms. The benefits would be: much easier hardware mapping to a single knob/control, and saving the amount of hardware controls needed to properly map the oscs.

For instance, Osc A has 2 waveforms which need to be mapped to 2 buttons/knobs/etc., and Osc B has 3 waveforms which need to be mapped to 3 buttons/knobs/etc. That's 5 MIDI CC's to map 2 oscillators. I think there'd be quite a few users would find a mode with 2 CC's (one for each osc) more convenient for mapping in many hardware setups. I'm thinking there'd be a mode that would cycle through the various permutations of the waveforms. Something like this...

I know for my particular setup, an option/preference like this would make hardware mapping the oscillator waveforms to my controller much easier. I suspect I wouldn't be alone. Perhaps something like this would make automation screwy though, not sure.

Being an engineer, I went through a similar calculation (on a calculator) as spunkmuffin.

I agree it would be nice, also for Diva of course, but we would have to offer both ways. For that we need kind of a hack, and we need people to know exactly what they're doing. Unfortunately these kinds of hacks have caused many support incidents in the past, so I'm kind of reluctant to start this project in a hurry

It's all make sense unless you like me have different midi controller like my novation remote sl or x-station. This approach gonna reduce amount of knobs and will increase amount of buttons, which I don't like. So it's good as an option but not as default.
Murderous duck!

Thanks for the reply Urs. Glad it's not been totally ruled out. The idea initially came to be when mapping Diva, which would really benefit most. Maybe for v. 2 in a few years...

David, yeah, whether it would benefit a person or not would be highly dependent on their controller configuration. So it would have to be an option. I use multiple controllers depending on what I'm doing and where I'm located, so I understand that.

Oh God, please do it Urs!.
Few things still open...

Some ToDos and filed issues are minor/cosmetic and might happen during beta testing, alongside a few dozen things that are not included in this chart (preset design, ads). But we did 307 tasks in 4 months, and we need about 50 more before we go beta. Still can't dare to make an estimate
I demand more graphs! I don't care what they are about but I need them immediately.

It's the decent thing to do.

The plugin can be whenever you are ready but I need more graphs now.

Please.

I hope these satiate at least some of your need for graphs.

My question is "who ate all the pie if not I"? :)
