The crazy thing with ANA 1... when the synth was released I've used Ana often. I fnished a song where 9 of 12 synth tracks are made with ANA1 but for some reasons I stopped using ANA1

I think it was the small interface, not so much the aliasing of the oscillators... hmm

This was the "Ana1 song"...stabs, pads, bass, leads nearly all was made with ANA 1. There is only a sampled piano and 2 other synth (Massive and Mini V). This track was made 2012 or 2013.

I have not read the complete thread what is coming up but it would be nice to see some improvements with Ana2 to bring this synth to a new level.

Every single part of the synth has been improved. In some cases, massively.

I don't see the "play" button for the preview function from Ana1, this feature was removed?

There is no specific Virus emulation intention here as far as I can tell.

In some respects it's better than a Virus (and I've had four of them ). The sample import alone adds SO much depth and space to what you can do. The reverb is also so much better than ANA1, and then there's.....

I also have a Virus (iirc you were one of the people who convinced me to buy it

) and I am a huge fan of its sound. I think I hear some of that depth/dimension/movement in your pads which I love about Virus pads. Sure this mostly comes down to the skills of the man who designed the presets but I think the synth's own character is also important. Also the supersaws and acids posted earlier sound great, not specifically "virusy" but I think almost equally good.

I only hope that the sounds I hear in your example mainly rely on the synth engine as such and not on samples, i mean that's not you have created cool moving textures elsewhere and then just dropped them into the sampler and switched the onboard reverb on or something.

I'd also love to hear some examles of FM sounds and vowel filters.

At 0:35, could you tell what was the synthesis type/technic/process used to obtain that result?
