I already own MPB2, but that's a nice thing (other than the fact that you're paying the full price) for people who couldn't afford it otherwise.OneOfManyPauls wrote:I see splice.com are doing rent to own on ozone 8+neutron 2 (standard) @ $14.99 a month:

mgw38 wrote:If you own the RX Post Production Suite 2 you apparently can also get Neutron 2 Advanced by upgrading to the RX Post Production Suite 2.1 for 79$. It is mentioned on the website but when I log into my account that option is not available (yet). As much as I love their products, their bundling and pricing policy is a mess to put it mildly.
It's messy if you own RX6 Advanced and the MPB2. No clean upgrade path. The only way to upgrade without re-purchasing RX Standard is to buy the individual upgrades for Ozone and Neutron. And how about the one missing plugin from the RX Post pack that I don't have? RX Loudness Control? That will be $349.00, no thank you very much.

Please somebody GAS me! Give me back the hype I had last year! I'm too jaded! The sadest part is I even have money to spend !
O I have an idea ! SSD drives, cloning bay...might invest on hardware instead makes sense !

People are going crazy over Kush Novatron, saying it beats most UAD compressors in sound quality and covers 70% of compression needs due to its ability to mimic so many different vintage units. Kush usually does pretty good Black Friday sales, too.

How do you think Presswerk stacks up against it? It seems that plugin doesn't get much press, although all the reviews loved it.Uncle E wrote:People are going crazy over Kush Novatron, saying it beats most UAD compressors in sound quality and covers 70% of compression needs due to its ability to mimic so many different vintage units. Just spent nearly £1000 in the last month on PC upgrade and a new keyboard. Still have about the same left over but think I have most of what I need at present, probably more than enough truth be told. Might invest in some SSD drives for sample libraries, quite fancy Tremor or similar drum machine/synth and might be nice to actually snag Softube Modular and some modules now I've got a PC that can handle it.Kalamata Kid wrote:Just a reminder to my GAS buddies,

Sure there'll be some temptation I didn't consider though, always a GAS leak somewhere

I love Navatron, but am too cheap to buy it at full price. An intro sale
would have worked for me, or not locking the price, even a small discount
and I would have bitten.
Oh well, seems it was a smart move on their part. I can wait for the next
sale to come along just fine. Definitely can recommend it though.
-Cheers
*I have presswork, which is probably better for the heavy lifting jobs
as it has more options. Novatron is awesome sounding and far
easier to use. Does it sound better? Probably not, different certainly.

Yes, people have been going crazy over that one, too, saying it's better than the Empirical Labs Arousor.Fleer wrote:Taking about compression, just had a look at Slate's FG-Stress. Comp to end all comps.
