I'm not in any way trying to bug Urs or the Uhe team but I thought I would post this and also see what others are looking forward to with Pro-5...
I'm looking forward to getting into a David Sylvian / Japan vibe
How about everyone else?

It's the decent thing to do.
The plugin can be whenever you are ready but I need more graphs now.
Please.

Back in the early eighties I fell in love with the soundtracks that John Carpenter and Alan Howarth were doing and I still love them today. Of course, the Prophet 5 was all over those soundtracks. I didn't have a clue about that at the time, but later I learned that those specific sounds that I loved most were made with the Prophet 5. Yes, of course you can emulate that with other virtual analog vst's. But I want something that sounds exactly like the real thing. And if there's any company I trust to accomplish that, it's u-he.synth_punk wrote:I'm not in any way trying to bug Urs or the Uhe team but I thought I would post this and also see what others are looking forward to with Pro-5...

I hope the original Prophet 5 presets will be included in Repro-5 (or made available as a sound pack). I think some of those original presets were even made by Alan Howarth.

We don't have the right to distribute those, but we will provide for a utility that converts Prophet-5 SysEx to Repro-5 presets. As you can find the original presets as (apparently legal) downloads on the internet...RichN wrote:I hope the original Prophet 5 presets will be included in Repro-5 (or made available as a sound pack).
