Mpowersynth arp out of sync in Bitwig

I recently bought the Mpowersynth and like its sound - some things are bad:

-Unfortunately the arp is perfectly useless for me because the bad timing and glitches.
The arp-retrigger function doesnt´t work in a solid way.
Especially when shuffle is used, note dropouts occur.
-I get bad glitches soundwise which are like a resonant rumbling, very low frequent

Hey there,

maybe could you provide an example preset where this occurs? This way we all could look into the preset and see if there might be set something wrong or if this really is a bug. You can do this by simply clicking the copy button in the plugin and then paste from the clipboard into this forum. Best in the code tags: [ code ] (PASTED TEXT HERE) [ / code ] (without the spaces, of course.
System: Win 10 64 bit / i9 9900K (8x 3.6 GHz) / 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM / 1TB M.2 SSD + 2x 500 GB SSD / RME Babyface / Reaper

Hi Tagirijus,

I think it´s not preset related - more perfomance related and probably makes little sense to post a preset. I wonder if anyone could tell, that the arp is super stable with no note hickups?
The unprecise behaviour gets bounced/exported to waveformat, too.
There a more bugs.
-When I´m selecting a wave preset from the osc dropdown menu, the mouse keeps selecting waves by staying connected to the knob. Workaround is to hit "enter" a few times.
- When I paint a waveform it doesn´t change the sound correctly. I have to turn the morph knob of it.
When I did this, the sound plays back right.

This synth needs some  from the devs.

... could you still post a preset so that all other people can also confirm that it's not preset related?

I can - at least in FL Studio 12.5.1 - here is a sample preset from me:

I cannot confirm (FL Studio, though).

What painting exactly do you mean? What morph knob exactly do you mean?

When I create a custom shape I can control the amount of custom shape which will be morphed into the actual selected shape with the Custom shape amount knob - is this the morph knob you mean? In that case: this behaviour is supposed to work like this: first set up a custom shape and then blend it with the amount you want it to blend into the actual shape. No bug.

I assume it gets enough love - don't worry. ;)

Custom waveform, yes I meant that. I have several (rightclick) options to draw a waveform.
When I turn that amountknob up to 100% the wave doesn´t get playedback correctly.
I have to reduce the amount to zero and then back to 100%, now I hear the drawn wave in the
right way.
I will fire up reaper´s demo to test it there - but I don´t like reaper. I´m just too stupid.

Since you do not want to share a preset, maybe you could show us with a screen capture at least? I really cannot follow what exactly you mean, sorry. :(

Or maybe somebody else can help better here? :?

Hi Tagirijus,

thanks for helping in my case.

It´s Bitwig that causes the problems. Reaper did it all perfectly!

I´m sorry for complaining over here. Wrong forum I guess.

I am glad you found the problem. Best would be to contact the bitwig support. Good luck with that!

Tagirijus. Nice for helping. The Melda bunch are great at helping each other.

I just thought id chime in with something I have found, it could possibly be the same problem?

In Ableton Live if midi notes are legato (no gaps, one note finished where the other starts) I get a glitch in Melda's arp.
Not sure why, but the arp hears the 'midi note 1 off' too late and actually triggers 2 notes when 'midi note 2 on' starts.

If I put a very small gap in-between 'midi note 1 off' and 'midi note 2 on' the problem goes away.

Anyone with Ableton able to test this? Could this be the same problem in Bitwig?
