MUX basic question: multiple output routing

I installed the MUX demo last night and am blown away so far. Late to the party I know.
I can’t work out how to have multiple outputs from MUX into the DAW. Obviously I have googled but all I’ve found relates to multiple output VSTi’s such as Battery etc.
I have added multiple Audio Output modules but they don’t show in the DAW.
Any advice, short of RTFM, which I intend to do today?

Ah interesting. I do see these in Ableton Live however they’re all marked as Left only so I ignored them thinking they’re mono.mutools wrote:MUX VST features 4 stereo outputs which should be visible automatically in the host.
I will test tonight when I’m home.
Thanks for the prompt response.

Ok, getting there.
Audio outputs working perfectly now.
Next question: can one MUX VST synth instance receive MIDI on two separate channels? I’ve added multiple Event Inputs but they all receive on MIDI channel 1.
This is what I want to do.
MUX including a drum synth VSTi, a bass synth VSTi, and a compressor VST to sidechain the bass. These all need to reside in a single MUX instance.
I have the kick and bass coming out of separate channels, however I need send MIDI channel 1 to the kick and MIDI channel 2 to the bass.

I double checked that aspect and MUX does properly receive the different MIDI channels sent by the host.
You can see that by connecting an Event Monitor to the main event input.
Make sure your host is sending on different MIDI channels as you want.

Thanks for confirming. What am I doing wrong here then?mutools wrote:I double checked that aspect and MUX does properly receive the different MIDI channels sent by the host.

Channel 1 is MUX
Channel 2 is MIDI routed to MUX Audio Input 1
Channel 3 is MIDI routed to MUX Audio Input 2 (although it's not apparently).
As you can see via the Event Monitor 2 no MIDI is being received.

Bingo.
No luck with the Audio Input option in both Ableton Live and Cubase however I was successful after adding a MIDI channel splitter.

Channel 1 goes to the Sylenth bassline which is compressed by Pro-C while Channel 10 goes to Kick2 with a split going to Pro-C to trigger the sidechain.
Great success!!!
Thanks Mr MuTools
