Hello, can someone explain me what is going on with my Live Suite. I thought the suite icon is Grey, but mine turned Orange since couple of months, It's a legit copy of live and I've replaced my pc a while ago with a new system, but the icon still remains orange even on the new windows. Is this normal?

No, never had beta on my pc, its just a regular Suite version with auto update on.

This is actually "red" and not "orange". This color/icon is used by Ableton for beta versions. Maybe you had one installed at some time.

No, never installed the beta, auto update is on and im running latest version, I even deleted preferences.cfg, yet my version remains "Orange" or "Pink" or whatever, and it's not windows related because it's my second pc with same problem now... Confused what can it be

It's probably just an error in the build you installed.

Thanks for help, I've seen this post before as I was trying google it, but my version remained Red since January this year, many months later and updates, even with the new version of Windows this problem is still there.

Well I would not view this as a PROBLEM, but it is left over from Beta apparently and just did not get overwritten in your install. What makes this odd is that Live wipes the old version every time...uh, unless you choose not to delete the old version...could that be it?

Why is this even a "problem"? Did you try deleting the shortcut and creating a new one?

In windows you can select the Icon you want to use (right click on the icon, properties, change icon and browse for a location) somewhere inside the Program Data/Ableton directory there is a folder that contains all the icons, including this orange, the gray, black, blue and green ones.

Choose the one you like!
