Sylenth1 v3.032 64 bit Cubase 9.0.30 problem: resets to first preset in bank after play then stop

Latest Windows 10 (64 bit), latest Cubase 9 Pro 9.0.30 Build 266 (64 bit).

Sylenth1 v3.032 64 bit vst 2 problem: resets to first preset in bank after pressing play then stop.

I'm trying to load other presets for a composition but after pressing play then stop sylenth1 resets the preset back to the first preset in the bank. This happens with all banks I load including factory ones.

I tried saving the banks within Sylenth1 v3.032 (MENU > BANK > SAVE AS...) then reloading the bank (MENU > BANK > LOAD) but that didn't fix it.

I tried loading Cubase as Administrator, it still didn't fix it.

The only option I have currently is to save the desired preset (PRESET > SAVE AS...) then load it on its own which is ok, but requires more effort & time when I have 8 instances of Sylenth1 with different presets.

Could anyone suggest some help please?

Sounds like you have embedded sysex program data like program change in your midi clips, check this out if you do then delete them that will solve the problem

Bank select messages are sent via CC 0, so also make sure to remove these.

I found and deleted the CC data and that fixed the issue, thanks very much to you both for helping me, I'll know about this in future now thanks.

Hi, i still have this issue. Been happening quite a while, the solution won't work. So i think it's time to post this.
I'm on Ableton Live 9.7. and the bank,sub,pgm are always set to none (--), I had never use this. Unless if i use MIDI from someone else from Logic.
This only happening on Sylenth1 track. Everytime i first start Ableton Live with Project that has Sylenth1 loaded.
Other vst are ok,
Obviously, If the pgm has value, it will affect any vst i loaded in.

Is this the bug from Ableton or else?

Try removing any CC 0 (bank select) midi messages from your midi clip, as that'll change the sub-banks in Sylenth1.
