Nice one Andreas! I've tweaked it some more (eg added pitchbend and modulation) and stored it in the factory lib. Thx!AndreasD wrote:Here is a quick and dirty but very lovely guitar patch based on the new resonator.

Both MuLab and MUX Modular VST Plug-In have been updated to 7.6.8 and are available in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/
Only change is that the Resonator Pitch parameter has been tuned wrt modulations.
Previously a modulation value of eg 5% resulted in 600 cents while that must be 300 cents. (5% of 6000 cents)
M7.6.8 Fixes this.
How to install:
MuLab:
Windows: Put the new .exe and .id files into the M7.6 installation folder.
MacOS: Put the new .app file(s) into the M7.6 installation folder.
MUX VST:
Windows: Put the new .Dll and .ID files into the MUX 7.5 installation folder.
MacOS: Put the new .vst files into the MUX 7.5 installation folder.

Does this mean that MuLab can identify pitches in audio? If so, there would infinite possibilities for new MUXes, audio to MIDI and why not harmonizing.urvieh wrote:Here is a quick and dirty guitartuner - for test purposes -, made with the new filter-module.
BTW I am really fond of the new version. Also the song (by Jo? ) is awesome. All in all a great gift.

It's a great logo. I'd love to wear some MuTools and MuLab t-shirts when I'm lecturing and the new logo would look great on a tee.

That folder was only for the pre-release versions.
M7.6 has been released now and the downloads are on http://www.mutools.com/mulab-downloads.html
If you already have installed M7.4 or up then it's quicker to only update the binaries: See http://www.mutools.com/mulab/app-patch/index.html

I own in the past a techniks wsa 1 this use mostly samples and resonators. for sounds as guitar or trumpet, strings or piano, choir i hear that the input samples(switch off the resonator) sound very thin and it seem frequencies around 100 upto 500 hz are much reduce and they are create with the resonators. are there some rules how can samples best resynthesize for use with resonators ?

Hey Jo, in M7.6.11, most of the project choices don't seem to be working in the opening
dialog e.g. Recent, Templates, Demo etc. Under Windows. I did just a straight up over-write
of the files, no changes or anything.
Thanks for the update!

Sorry bout that. Should be fixed in M7.6.12 which is available in those same folders. Note that only the Windows versions are updated as this issue was only in the Windows versions. Thx for reporting this promptly!

Try the Invert FB switch. There is a dependence of a frequency 'hole' to pitch. Inverted feedback can help.magicmusic wrote:I own in the past a techniks wsa 1 this use mostly samples and resonators. for sounds as guitar or trumpet, strings or piano, choir i hear that the input samples(switch off the resonator) sound very thin and it seem frequencies around 100 upto 500 hz are much reduce and they are create with the resonators. are there some rules how can samples best resynthesize for use with resonators ?
