How do you get Plugin Alliance vouchers? I own their 5 products and I don't remember ever receiving a $25 voucher.

I believe if you email support and tell them they will start sending you vouchers especially after you've bought 5 products.

the 7X-500 compressor is dope!
can get a big sound through perceived volume and save a dB or two of peak compared to many other compressors.
great for techno kicks, if you're into that sort of thing.

While I'm no expert and I don't really know what I'm doing but I think I've just been spoiled by the acustica audio products. Their comps like the ones in ebony and timp's stuff for nebula sound beautiful. 7x-500 just sounds too much like every other plugin compressor too me. Albeit it is pretty nice but still has that sound and I much prefer the acustica stuff now.

Character causes crashes on my otherwise stable i7 DAW. YMMV but I can't use it reliably.
