it will be nice to see videos too.noiseboyuk wrote:I love the idea that a beta tester would record a first audio example of an eagerly awaited new synth, and then just strip everything below 200hz before uploading. Oh yeah I should point out this the 'Poly' Filter model and 'P5' OscillatorsVitaminD wrote:Hope this helps... this is 8 voice unison, detune at 60%, with the voices panned like a fan.

Nice. So far I'm really digging the sound though I will say it sounds a little brighter than I expected but not necessarily a bad thing. I'm starting to lean towards a purchase but I need to hear some more demos. Thanks

pdxindy wrote:There is a new RePro-5 filter option (Poly) ... plus the ones from RePro-1 as well...hakey wrote:Try the RePro1 demo. It's the same filter (I think?).
This is the 'Rounded' filter model - Osc's set to P5 Old (unique to RePro-5) - some held notes and a filter sweep via filter env with Resonance set to about 50%. No other modulation.

Awesome. Thanks for the example. It sounds like there is a pretty hefty range to that filter and most of it was a sweet spot.

Do laptop speakers and earbuds go above 200 hz ?

Yeah, plenty of character and sweet spot... the different filter models, while all sharing a common ancestry, do have some different tones. Same with the different Osc models.Doc Brown wrote:Awesome. What about some of the polyphonic distortion pads.....the demos sounds great indeed so far but nothing some other synths couldn't do. It's all a bit tame.
Forgive me, i had a bottle of red wine

Here is another filter sweep... same as before, but this time, Poly filter type, 60% resonance, and noise and noise modulation added.

Haven’t said a word yet in this thread (although I have read every post...), but this sounds just too good to keep quiet. Great stuff, can’t wait for the public release/betapdxindy wrote:Here is another filter sweep... same as before, but this time, Poly filter type, 60% resonance, and noise and noise modulation added.

I'm a bit confused. Isn't the Prophet a 2 oscillator synth?Mutant wrote:Today on GS someone bumped a P5 vs P6 challenge thread from 9 months ago.
