I have 2 computers both 64 bit T6. I can not open archive from one PC to the other.
Before I get to deep in this, does it make a difference if one operating system is windows 7
and the other is windows 10?
When I go to open an archive it asks me for a folder I specify, when I go to unpack in T6, it says unpacking errors .
I look at the unpacked file and it only looks like 1 file is unpacked , but because of the MB size
aprox 60 to 100 mb depending on the song I think it is all there?
Thanks

Update; I realize I can load older archives on second pc of the same songs so... What would cause my archive to quite working correctly. Same software on the PC I'm archiving from . Archive shows good. Shows correct MB per song but wont load to second pc
same usb stick. The newer archives wont load to 2nd pc older ones will ?

That's Weird, in my case i just copy the project folder to the new PC, then open the ".tracktionedit" or the ".tracktion" file (don't remember wich one), and it works, so no need to pack/unpack.
Right Click on the file>open with>tracktion6
or
Open Tracktion 6>open project>select ".tracktion" file
but not using packing/unpacking

have you made a second try, letting tracktion make the same archive again?
just to check, if it is reproducable as an error with tracktion building archives.
workaround is, as described above, to copy the whole projectfolder to the other computer (this will only work correctly, when all used files are inside the projectfolder!).

To test i made an archive, then upacked, then make two archives form the unpacked project, then unarchived them, everything worked fine.klangbastler wrote:have you made a second try, letting tracktion make the same archive again?

Maybe the problem is caused by some type of files, i use samplers, so i have only midi files in my projects.
What are the missing files in you archives?

I forgot to say that i am on Waveform 8, and even if the bug is confirmed on T6, don't think the devoloper would fix it, since T6 is now a legacy version, only Waveform 8 is being updated as far i know

The Answer !!
Tracktion told me it may be a problem with T6. They suggested trying T7.
I did and my archives load perfect and it works good. I appreciate all the help and Tracktion
for taking the time to respond.
