I'm starting to find the value when towards the end of each month they have a code to get discounts on certain software.

Just recently this was offered

Until the end of the month, Audified are giving you 80% off their awesome products Amplion Pro, GK Amplification 2 Pro and inTone 2.

Amplion Pro is $99.00. You get it for $19.80

it's not great - but I assume you're grandfathered in and paying the $2.99 price too, so hard not to give them a few passes,
But it adds up, and I can't remember any very good freebies this year, there was EupeterXL, but that was buggy

I give them one more chance, and if they deliver another fail I am out.
Yep, yep and yep. Same here. Actually, I'll give them two more months. And I'm going to write to them and tell them that as well as the above. Step it up or many will drop them.

And by the way, Kazrog has their EQ on sale this week for $5. Looks like they're going to do a plug a week at this price according to their email. http://kazrog.com/products/valveq/

And lastly, I kinda like the $39 Rigid Audio Hypernode. It sounds nice to me. I kinda like the concept. Thoughts? http://rigid-audio.com/products_hypernode_media.html

Hey Uncle E:

I wanna pull the trigger on a couple Toontrack EZX packs, but apparently no coupons are allowed on top of the sale?

Just noticed they have frei:raum at Audio Plugin Deals for $59.99. Remember hearing about it when it was released the other year but seems to have dropped off the radar since (it being $300 for an admittedly smart EQ was probably the other reason I didn't pay it any mind).

Looked at the video on the site and it looks kinda like Neuron on steroids (though I haven't tried N2 yet). Anyone got any experience with this plug?

I’d also be interested in hearing feedback. Though now that I have the TDR EQs they seem like Swiss Army Knives on their own. Nova and Slick EQ are so ridiculously good even in their free versions, say nothing of GEs.

+1

I contacted their support, and the reason there is no plugin this month:

"Unfortunately this month a developer pulled out at the last minute because they'd revamped their website and it had a lot of bugs so we were forced to make quick changes."

So it seems they only plan a month ahead...

Sonible frei:raum is one of those smart plugins you just got to love. Like anything from FabFilter or Zynaptiq.
Frei:raum is three plugins in one, actually four, as it also works as a generic EQ, but at the highest level. However, the three creative parts are the ones that are truly magical. The smart:EQ layer creates your ideal mix EQ for you, think iZotope but much better. the proximity:EQ layer solves your mic, room and reverb problems. The incredible entropy:EQ layer separates the pluck from the string sound, or the impact from the harmonic part of your sound.
Absolutely unbelievable.
The only problem was price. Started at $400 for professionals only. Last sale price was $300 and they also sell the three parts individually for $150, so $59 for all three is a no-brainer alright.

Thanks Fleer, wasn't sure if I needed it but watched the video and thought this would be amazingly useful for workflow, mixing and sound design. Think this could be an expensive month...

I was also wondering what this plugin is all about. Looks interesting at this price. Thanks Fleer.
