Weird that it says M4L is now integrated, yet its not listed as a feature of 10 Standard, just the Suite.

Set Theory claim:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate.
Red is Red and anything that is Red is an object, a class in itself or a real thing if you prefer"

If anyone hasn't seen it, the M4L modulation devices can now control up to 8 parameters at once. Dunno why they didn't put that bigger in there. It's not Bitwigs mod system but with the integrated M4L and supposed drop in CPU-use it's a big step up.

Just hope they have fixed the library system so it isn't so useless

Yes, I was ready to sell my 9 Suite license, but this looks as if someone took my wishlist and ticked (almost) everything off! <3Spencer Maddox wrote:WOW!

It's integrated, as opposed to running separately as it is now. Pretty sure it means both lower RAM footprint and lower CPU overhead, which is something all (Ok, most) of us wantedwhyterabbyt wrote:Weird that it says M4L is now integrated, yet its not listed as a feature of 10 Standard, just the Suite.
I'm stupidly excited!

What about the export selected tracks? Also is it possible disable and hide tracks or transform instrument track/freeze without freezing effects?

Funny, I was thinking that this was an underwhelming update for the big 10. There is a lot of 'stuff' there, but I was realty expecting more DAW features rather than new instruments (as fun as that wavetable synth looks, I have Serum, Avenger, Falcon etc), maybe I have just skim read it and there is a lot more I am missing...but I don't see any new 'killer' feature or workflow, just more stuff.
I have live 9 suite, so have all the MAX stuff- better integration was expected (I look forward to seeing how this actually works) but where are the most requested features of all time like in clip editing (the reason I switched to BWS)?
I personally see no reason here to switch back from BWS (which is why I healed on to my Live 9 licence...) especially as I use the CV features a lot but will of course give it a really good demo before deciding to sell or switch, I cant see me keeping both as they haven't diverged in any way....I have a lot of Live packs and was/am really looking for an excuse to keep it, but for the last year I have just been booting BWS for the CV, in clip editing and hybrid DAW workflow...
If you are of course a Live user (if its your main DAW) this is a great update and a no brainer, if you were looking for a clear winner in the 'BWS or Live' battle, I don't think Live X makes it any clearer to me!

I would have preferred they focused on basic functionality improvements rather than adding a load of new plugins I already have covered 10 times over.
Some nice improvements, but I'm very underwhelmed given the amount of time they spent between 9 and 10.
