1. After first loving MDr.L. I now feel a bit confused and angry.
Please see the attachments.
I tried to import the 20 kits (attachment, whole folder with 20 kits in wav) which worked partially. MDrL made it and created those mix-kits aditionally. But original names were lost. And, even worse, the new kits had toms only from the first kit acme in allmost every case.
So I decided: I load them all in one after the other, with the settings shown in the attachments, starting withe acme = kit No. 1. MDrL made TWO kits out of the one kit (why that?). The first one included the hh1 on all hh-keys. The 2nd one included hh2 0n all hh-keys. This is useless.
So can someone tell me how to simply import a Drum Kit? Just as it is?
2. In the import settings one could erase all proposed criteria such as for Kick > Kick, bass, base, ... - so it would be more distinct. But how to restore default import setttings for the next import?
MDrummer Large: Can he really import kits (in a useful way)?

1. I fear you are really expecting some kind of artificial intelligence. It most likely made multiple kits simply because there were multiple samples for some components, e.g. the Clap. The generator tries to search for all samples with the relevant keywords and creates kits from them. If there isn't tom 3, no tom 3 won't be generated. If there are multiple samples of the same type, it's probable that it will think "aaaah, there are probably multiple kits in that folder".
Personally in most cases I use it with classic banks - many bass drums in one folder, many snares in another etc. If you use it to import some kind of existing sample set from some 3rd party product, it's quite likely that you'll have to edit this and that.
2. Please don't do that. Currently there's no way to restore it, I think
. Well except for fiddling with config files... It was never assumed that one would want to remove keywords. It wouldn't help you anyways imho. I don't see any "weird" names in the screenshot you posted.
