That was a rather easy one to resist though. Quite a price point even with the discount.

But after going through the sound list, and looking closer at the engine, I felt my pulses, guitars, strings, stings, braams, etc. were well covered. I have their Evolution series and it is great. But I also have Hybrid's stuff and a bunch of other items, and did not want to thin myself too much before BF.Fleer wrote:Yay for you! Now try resisting Vikings
So yea, I resisted.

But they're such a good value at that huge discount LOL.Armadillo wrote:I have fallen into that trap many times. I love the sounds but I don't really need them. Yay for me.
I'm glad that I've largely avoided that particular bug.

Might I ask how you managed that?OneOfManyPauls wrote:I've tended to be buying specific things rather than waiting for deals - so more into finding the best "regular" discounts I can eg I got zebra 2 from JRR for $167 yesterday vs the $250 it would have cost from u-he direct.

I'm sort of kicking myself for sleeping on a package deal someone was selling here for about that much that included Dark Zebra. Ah, sigh.Fleer wrote:Add to cart with code Group: $167.16Tappistry wrote:Might I ask how you managed that?OneOfManyPauls wrote:I've tended to be buying specific things rather than waiting for deals - so more into finding the best "regular" discounts I can eg I got zebra 2 from JRR for $167 yesterday vs the $250 it would have cost from u-he direct.

Anyone have experience with the Platinum Samples MIDI packs? Always looking to expand my library of drum MIDI grooves, and I'm sort fixated on Toontrack's aftermarket expansions at the moment. Can't beat their integration and organization within EZD/SD.

I've been curious too. You cannot go wrong with Groove Monkey though...Tappistry wrote:Anyone have experience with the Platinum Samples MIDI packs? I picked up their mega pack with the stacked coupons and temporary "sale" they do when you visit the site for the first or third time or whatever.dandezebra wrote:I've been curious too. Man Soundtoys are amazing! I've managed to accumulate 8 of their plugins in the last 12 months either for free, $10 or $25. I've definitely got my eye on trading up for the full bundle this Xmas sale.krabbencutter wrote:Soundtoys Little Plate - an EMT 140 Emulation - FREE through November 22nd!![]()

I narrowed down my choices to dyneq2, which I the only dynamic eq I have is the free nova at the moment and SPL TwinTube. Does anyone know how that compares to the uad version?
oh sorry , I thought you were asking what are the gems at Pluginalliance not what was on sale this month. I scanned your post and didn't pick up on the fact that you were referring to items on sale. In any case I still stand by DSM V2 remarks.

Wave Alchemy trying to do a "Black Friday starting early" sales routine, offering their big drum rig at half price as usual
Don't get fooled by imitations kids, the best BF deals will not appear "early"
