How do I use MRhythmizer only on certain parts of my beat in Logic Pro X?

So I just purchased MRhythmizer. When I load in the effects, in this case a vinal stop sound, it just plays on each bar over and over. I don't know what to do I just want it to end the chorus with a vinal stop and start up but I can't do that because it's stopping at the beginning of every bar in the track...

You need to enable note off. Note off will cause the sound to return to normal as soon as you release the key. I use it with my keyboard, but you can just click the button and use automation if you want. Check out my vid at 7:06 for a brief explanation.

you have the dry wet knob and also you have the step length bar try to control both of them using modulation

Thanks for the reply but your MRhthmyzer is different from mine. I dont have the enable midi controls button and I can't play mine on the keyboard like you did in the video. I'm using logic 10.3.2

Di you load it as “AU MIDI-controlled Effects”?
From there, you must use the side chain to get the signal you want to process.

I don't have logic, so I don't know, but there should be a way to enable midi input. Once midi input is enabled you should be able to set things up just like I did in the video.

In Logic the workflow is just stupid... but that's how it is: You need to create a new track, send the audio to this track and put the plugin there. So like this:

Track you want to process -> some effects... -> Track 2
Track 2 -> MRhythmizer (and here you put the MIDI)
