I just try to build a MUX for split-keyboard-playing. No problem: Two racks in the MUX and a "note key/vel Filter" before each of them to set the splitpoint and an amplifier after them. Now I can drag the amp's gains to the GUI, ok.
I also can drag the racks to the GUI. But then I only get a "button" that opens the rack. And to open an entry I need an additional click not to mention the (unwanted) floating rack.
Is there a possibility to put an "opened" rack onto the GUI?

Well, this question pops up again and again. In my opinion this is an issue of insufficient user interface design.nenneb wrote:I should have read (and understood) the manual ....
I think there should be some visual indication of non-obvious drag sources when the front panel is in edit mode. When the user sees inner icons within an element in edit mode it will be obvious that there is a "separate thing".
