Great track, sound like an orchestral rehearsal on a distant planet in a distant galaxy.TwoToneshuzz wrote:Couldn't really sleep through the night so used som time going into more depth with Kaleidoscope.
Like a dream, I don't know if I even had a part in making it. But that's Kaleidoscope, it takes you and shakes you up:

Yes I'm in Copenhagen but am a transplant. It's nice to know that I'm close to Simon in Berlin as I can have get to meet him without having to travel too far. Then again there could be some button on one of the synths he makes sounds for that can make the trip in a twinkling of an eye!SJ_Digriz wrote:LOL! Roger that... I didn't want to come off serious. ok, getting even with TwoToneshuzz HEHEHE
1 instance of Kaleidoscope using Simons Triplet Ladder preset .. modified a bit to get the jerky rhythm to work the way I wanted. One Instance Falcon using one of Simons Falcon Scape presets feeding the drone for the wooshing and chordal backdrop. A famous speech about how it sucks to be infantry adjusted for suitability.

Ain't it the truth, loud and obnoxious it must be to be near the artillery batteries. Still the trenches were hell on earth also..SJ_Digriz wrote:War is pallitable for everyone but the infantry.

It’s a Walter Cronkite interview after a return from the front lines. Pretty interesting in that he delivered the discussion in a very emotionless way. Such a weird dichotomy.

Inspired by SJ Digriz I just made a Kaleidoscope track using 3 instances playing patches from set 25. additional used sounds from iZotope Iris subscription and 1 Steinberg Halion 6 sound from Cornucopia sounds to feed the Kaleidoscope , and one PPG Phonem patch from Phonemklatura..Arranged mixed (Dry/Wet) automation in Numerology Pro 4.

New track, same basic setup as before. This is rather dynamic jumping from texture to surging waves rather quickly, at first rather hesitant to post this, on the other hand though I felt it has a crazy Kaleidoscopic bredth that might be interesting. What I want to do though is go back to this and try and draw out some of the textures length time wise.
One thing I noticed with Numerology Pro 4 was that changing presets for each track did not change the base key and octave of the Kaleidoscope as I had painstakingly setup, so I had to set up that function in a bit more round about way. The short story is that I now have preset like changing of the Key and octave of the three different instances of Kaleidoscope on the fly. A further level of this needs to be inplemented so that I also get my intended variations in the presetup sequences, and general speed of the arrangement. Need I say this is slow to setup!

Soon time for another visit. I'll try flying this time. The Kaleidoscope method of hypersonic travel isn't implemented in the present version..Sampleconstruct wrote:He is a Canadian living in exile -> Denmark, he even visited one of my concerts some years ago and drove all the way to Hamburg by train.SJ_Digriz wrote:LOL!
