Hi everyone,

i just got the sales report from Waldorf and it looks like at the "Time Warp weekend" the sales for my "Atmospheric Transients" soundset for PPG 3.V were quite successful.

Hi Ingo, really keen for some more sounds for the PPG Wave if you ever get some time, please!
Using it a lot and really love the sound of it.
Is there anywhere that might have users' own presets?

Hi,

of course a plan more sounds (this time without samples) but currently i am working on sounds for e.g. Tone2 Rayblaster and Tone2 ElectraX.

Fast forward to 2017:

(a) After purchase, I downloaded one zip file. The contents are: DNR.Anatomy01-SamplesOnly, Multi programs, Single programs, IW_PPG 3.V_Atmospheric Transients, SoundFolderPPGW3 and SoundOrdnerPPGW3.

(b) I've looked at the included PDF picture and don't understand how to install this properly. Putting the extracted folder into the User Library location doesn't seem to work fully. I'm getting errors like .... TRANSIENT *not found*

I'm on Windows 7

OK I pulled the trigger and bought it and I get the transients error too.

To be honest the location is a little strange (App Data>Roaming Data>Waldorf - very odd location). I am wondering if the sample data needs to go somewhere else? However the only other sample data folder has .wtb files (whatever they are), so I'm not really sure.

About to fire off a mail to Waldorf if no solution appears here.

you should have received two zip files, one zip file as you have described it and another one with the samples named Atmospheric-Transients-Samples. in my case i have used the bank file (.fxb file) IW_PPG3.V_Atmospheric Transients.fxb from the first zip file and the folder with the samples from the second zip file. if i remember correctly (i'm not at my studio pc at the moment) both the bank file and the samples folder have to go in c:\user\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\Waldorf\PPG Wave 3.V. in addition, with previous versions of the waldorf synths there were problems with the administrator rights, to be able to recognize the samples in the above mentioned location the DAW had to be started with administrator rights, otherwise loading the presets would lead to an error message that the samples belonging to the presets could not be found (i don't know if this is still the case with the last versions because i always use my DAWs with administrator rights).
i hope that helps. i'm a bit puzzled that ingo did not come to the rescue since he seems to be watching the thread about his soundset from time to time.
