So, KVR wizards, how do I really make that sticky hard sync stab? Donno if sticky is the right word, but can't think of a better

Patch gurus already tweaking some presets? Can anyone help me out with "One of my terns"? I like what Howard did, yet I can't get a nice short percussive chord stub at "day after day" and "night after night" lyrics. Playing with filter and amplifier release and making it shorter definitely helped, but not quite there yet.

I find this horribly messy and polluting the tag cloud needlessly. Please don't do itaMUSEd wrote:In the meantime a workaround is to add a top level tag named [Library] and a second level tag named [Bankname] for all patches in a particular bank.

It's a kludge but there is no other option right now - all NI's fault they should open it upEvilDragon wrote:I find this horribly messy and polluting the tag cloud needlessly. What I find more annoying is people can't seem to decide whether to use 'Pad' or "Pads' etc so we have needless dupes of almost every category

Yeah that is also something that irks me a whole lot.
(NI has opened it up for content producers, so Maschine CP it is for such bank name tweaks, as you know already. Just nudge me if you need it done, is not a problem.)

Yeah I know but it would mean sending you, or someone else I know with Maschine CP, third party banks you may not have (which would breach license agreements). I can't do that. I have just done it on one occasion for my own Diva bank and a couple of others with the SD's permission.EvilDragon wrote:Yeah that is also something that irks me a whole lot.

While it sounds good, it's a terrible hog, especially with polyphonic sounds. Seems even worse than Diva if I remember that one correctly. To run multiple instances one would need an i9 processor I suppose.

So go on and keep on using Synth1 then.
You don't seem to enough appreciate the advancements in DSP that really demand that amount of CPU.
BTW runs just fine on a regular quadcore that has at least 3 GHz. And is not an AMD.
Doesn't have to be i9 for multiple instances. i7 is fine for that, but again - the faster the better.

Tick that little MC button - it reduced my CPU use by 75%. In Cubase with AG2, can run many instances very happily on an i7.fluffy_little_something wrote:While it sounds good, it's a terrible hog, especially with polyphonic sounds. Would help to hear the example, but I'm not sure what song those lyrics refer to.Greggers wrote:Patch gurus already tweaking some presets? Can anyone help me out with "One of my terns"? Interesting, the MC feature does reduce the load somewhat, albeit by only about 10% of the non-MC load. In Diva switching on the multi-core support makes my DAW overload immediately, so the one in Repro at least seems to work the way it shouldnoiseboyuk wrote:Tick that little MC button - it reduced my CPU use by 75%. Great thanks!Urs wrote:MPE works in VST2 /w exceptions: No master channel, no CC#74 (unless you MDII learn something) and you have to set +/- 48 semitones Pitchbend yourself. It should work like the other U-HE MPE enabled synths right, in there aren't any special controls on the synth that need to be engaged? I'm having a hard time getting it to work.
