May I just say that some of the sounds I can get out of this thing are sublime. I haven't played with it for very long yet but so far I'm loving the essential architecture.

Being a big fan of Zebralette, I wish there was a way to introduce more randomness/noise into these patches: there's something liberating about the menu of filter options in Zebralette that I could see working beautifully here too.

Keep bringing us these instruments.

Yesterday I tried it on the MacBook Pro, and the CPU drop was about 20% across 4 cores - not the huge and glorious 75% drop I got on on the Windows i7. Interesting.
Maybe it has to do with the number of cores. My CPU also has 4 physical cores (8 threads).
How many cores does your i7 have?

It's about sound differences. We want people to be clear what they're getting when they switch HQ on - most times: Nothing, really - but sometimes a considerable change in tone which could be seen as a bug if offline rendering sounds different than live play.

Sorry, i missed that this question was already asked.

I see the point with the changes that might be unwanted (i have some ACE sounds that really sound best in draft mode and completely lose their character when switching to higher quality settings), but i still think that it would be a nice option. Of course always per instance, like in Diva.

Incredible work, hats off to everyone at u-he. The Linux version plays beautifully with Bitwig 2.2.2, I haven't tested it with anything else yet.

System here includes an AMD FX6300 6-core CPU at 3.5 GHz. Last night I made some test pieces for a couple presets. A 4-voice piece for Howard's Cinema Plush peaked the CPU usage at 48%, which dropped to around 35% in MultiCore mode. Still getting too many xruns, but perhaps RePro5 will see some further optimizations (?).

I then decided to check it out in HQ mode. Haha, I don't think I*'ll be doing a lot of realtime work in HQ mode.

The sounds are simply awesome, which is what I expected out of a synth from u-he.

Wonderful sounding synth, one problem I am having is Repro1 ran great in eXT3, now with update of beta neither version 1 or 5 will load without crashing the host? Any help would be apreciated

A 4-note chord of that patch uses 23% (31% in HQ mode) on my 4-core Ryzen 1400X. MC support on vs off doesn't seem to make any difference with that patch.

I think the user interface is way too dark, and color contrast is poor. On the hardware that didn't matter, the surface of that thing was huge compared to the software GUI on a normal monitor.

Won't help with the contrast, but you can adjust the Gamma in the preferences if you didn't already know.

I knew that, but it doesn't help thaaat much...

I still find the order odd: neutral -> bright -> brighter, in my view it should be neutral -> brighter -> bright (and the same for dark, of course).
