Will the PreSonus FaderPort 8 be compatible w/T8, i.e. bi-directional communication so that the hardware reflects the status of the software and vice-versa?
Please make every effort to make this happen.

No, we're sorry this is not likely to happen as we are currently wasting precious time and resources on our upcoming Pot-metal interface.

If the faderport can emulate a Mackie MCU / HUI, then this should work. I think it can. I'd look into how you enable that on the faderport.
